Start the evening off with the delicious Buffalo Mozzarella Salad with fresh tomato. For the Second Course, choose between the Artichoke Ravioli with black truffle sauce, or the Spinach and Pea Risotto. Mom can also take pleasure in the Third Course which includes the delicious Grilled Salmon with Sorelle. The exclusive Mother’s Day Dessert, the Torta della Nonna, also known as "Grandmother's Cake" will have everyone crying, “Delizioso!” after the first bite with a rich creamy custard filling, topped with pine nuts. Also, do not forget to toast Mom with a bottle of one of Celestino Ristorante’s award-winning international wines. The Mother’s Day Four-Course Prix-Fixe Menu is $58.00 per person and the regular à la carte menu is also available for Mom to choose exactly what she wants as well.

THE RAYMOND 1886:

 

Executive Chef Tim Guiltinan has something extra special prepared for Mom at Pasadena’s The Raymond 1886 this Mother’s Day. Kick-off Mother’s Day Brunch with Things to Start With like the Golden Apple Fritters with maple syrup, or the Homemade Cinnamon Roll with homemade cream cheese frosting. For Mom’s that are craving an eggs-stravaganza of a Brunch, there are Chef Inspired Omelets such as the Shrimp, Thyme, Sundried Tomato, Sweet Corn and Crème Fraiche Omelet, or the Italian Baked Eggs with prosciutto, potatoes and mushrooms baked with tomato and Parmesan with sourdough. Get a little South of the Border flavor with Huevos Montuleños, featuring scrambled eggs on crispy tortillas accompanied with black beans, corn salsa, roasted tomato-guajillo chile sauce, avocado, and cotija cheese. Enjoy Eggs and Other Breakfast Items like the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, avocado and bacon, corned beef hash, or classic Canadian bacon. Encourage Mom to indulge her sweet tooth this Mother’s Day with breakfast treats like the Pineapple French Toast with vanilla-brioche, caramelized pineapple and honey butter, or dig into the Cheddar & Herb Cakes, featuring savory pancakes layered with ham, cheddar, white mushrooms and a poached egg.
