Beach Party in the Park
The Pasadena Chamber, Playhouse Village Foundation and Playhouse Village Association celebrate Cheeseburger Day September 18th with a FREE concert in the park. Join us at Playhouse Village Park for fun and music by Rock Candy by Art Deco Entertainment. 2024 marks the 100th anniversary of the invention of the cheeseburger by 16 year-old Lionel Sternberger (at the Rite Spot roadside stand at 1500 West Colorado-go by and see the plaque). This is a fun family event.
Bring a blanket, beach chair and your enthusiasm as we host a Beach Party in the Park. No need to RSVP, just show up ready for FUN and great music! Playhouse Village Park is at the corner of Union Street and El Molino Avenue. Come celebrate cheeseburgers with us and Rock candy by Art Deco Entertainment. (I think there may be some Jimmy Buffet songs played... along with plenty of classic and contemporary rock 'n roll!
It is ok to bring food and drink, just no alcohol or smoking in the park, please.
